Bee Removal

Bees are beneficial insects. They generally will not bite unless distressed. If nobody in your household is allergic to bees, it’s best to leave them alone. When there is an infestation of bees, then you can use several approaches for bee removal. It is important that you make certain that it is bees and not wasps since the methods to get rid of the infestation differ. When doing bee elimination, there are two basic options.

Humane bee removal

This method is usually recommended because of them being valuable to the ecosystem. To use this technique you will need to call in a beekeeper. In this procedure for bee removal, the queen bee and all the worker bees have been moved into a box and then the hive is eliminated. This is done through the day when the bees are less active and more bees are in the hive. When the hive is removed each of the honey and beeswax must be removed. The homeowner or a professional bee exterminator can do extermination. Some exterminators will remove and relocate bees but many will eliminate them using sprays to kill the bees. Sometimes the bee exterminator will even remove the nest or hive but when it becomes the homeowner’s responsibility, once they have removed the hive or nest they’ll need to wash the area thoroughly to remove any pest attractions. Including any honey which may draw ants or other bees to construct their hive or nest there.

If you have an area where you can burn things you could also burn the hive. As soon as you’ve cleaned the area watch to make sure that no more bees attempt to construct a hive or nest there.
